What you'll learn
Our open-level bachata classes build real social-dancing skills from the ground up — musicality, timing, lead-and-follow connection, and the smooth body movement bachata is known for. Whether it's your first class or your fiftieth, you'll leave with moves you can use on the social floor that night.
- Basic steps, timing, and how to hear the bachata rhythm
- Partner connection — leading and following with clear, gentle frame
- Turns, footwork, and body movement you can actually use socially
- Floorcraft and etiquette so you feel confident at any social
Beginner-friendly — no partner needed
Come solo or bring a friend — students rotate partners, so everyone gets to dance and nobody's left out. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes with smooth soles, arrive 5–10 minutes early, and bring water. The studio is a 3-minute walk from the E / M / R / 7 trains at Queens Plaza and Queensboro Plaza.
